The Cheeseman lab is developing high throughput approaches for understanding the role directed transcriptional responses play in the response to antimalarial drug treatment. To achieve this they are applying single cell RNA sequencing to progeny from the genetic cross across a wide array of environments. This data will help us determine the mechanism of resistance for anti-malarial drug treatments
